Coffs Harbour in northern New South Wales, Australia has excellent diving offshore, around the Solitary Islands, but relatively little shore diving. The marine life is a fascinating mix of tropical and temperate species, with the Solitary Islands having a high proportion of tropical species, particularly at North Solitary Island, while inshore reefs are dominated by temperate species. This website is devoted to documenting marine species found in the Coffs Harbour region, showing examples of fish and invertebrate life seen in this area.
